Furthermore, many casinos play a tie when the 0 comes out. This means that simple bets are shared with the dealer. The player then collects 50% of the chips, while the dealer loses the rest.

English Roulette

This type of roulette is quite similar to the French one, albeit with minor differences. The first is certainly in the terminologies, which are obviously in English. So instead of pair and impair we have even and odd.

Also, 50/50 bets are all spread out on one side, which results in players positioning themselves in a completely different way around the table. If the 0 comes up, the bets are automatically halved. There is therefore no en prison rule as in French roulette.

Usually, when we talk about European roulette, there are many doubts whether we are referring to the French or the English one. American Roulette

American roulette is, as the name suggests, the variant from overseas, and is known because it is very difficult to win. As already mentioned, the main feature is that the zero is double, so it is written “00”. This is green and on the wheel it is on the opposite side of the 0. On the green table, however, the two are side by side.
